Week 11...

Week after week, even day after day, I'm seeing so many changes in WJC5 already. I'm so glad I have this blog to document these observations and events. I would certainly forget half of them otherwise, just due to lack of sleep!! LOL!!

WJC5 has become quite a conversationalist. He is a talker and is becoming quite a flirt. He makes me truly laugh and smile each day. This is a picture of a morning conversation between us. He's letting me know how he slept. :) As you can see though, he is working very hard at trying to talk. I am still trying to get the giggle on camera.

He has also started to notice Shea which is adorable. They just sit and stare at each other. I think they are already secretly becoming best friends.

His favorite hobby is kicking. He has a new toy called the "Kicking Coaster" and he just loves it. We even added a plastic top lid for him to kick. Whenever he kicks it, it makes noise and he gets such a hoot out of it.

This past week WJC5 went to visit Dad at work. We went to ESPN and James got to "show him off" to all his work colleagues. He was quite a hit and enjoyed meeting everyone. Maybe there is a future ESPN employee inside of him!!

Also, this past weekend, our dear friends Chris and Julie visited from Florida. We had lots of fun with them and enjoyed a nice river walk, a wine festival, and even a dinner out. WJC5 was a great sport and went along with everything we did with a wonderful attitude. Very little fussing and lots of smiles and sleeping. What a trooper.

This coming weekend we are going to Maine and will be making our first road trip. I can only hope his wonderful behavior and temperament continues. Wish us luck...
