Well, we only have one month left until WJC5 is officially a "toddler!" I cannot even believe that. I am having a hard time mentally and emotionally adjusting to that thought to be honest. I love the stage he is at and how much he has grown. Life with an infant is hard... lots of stress, no sleep, round the clock care, lots of crying, etc. If you asked me at the time if I would ever miss it, I would scream, "NO WAY!" But, as we are one month away from WJC5 turning 1 year old, and as he is getting independent and opinionated, I have to say that I already miss it tremendously.
He is not fully walking on his own yet. He can pull himself up and toddle around on the furniture, but he has not let go and attempted to go across the room on his won. I can tell he is getting close though.
Our big event this month was our Spring Break trip to Florida. We got to stay at Nana and Papa's new home and then we went to Longboat Key in Sarasota. It was WONDERFUL!! We relaxed, had massages, played golf, went out to yummy dinners... even WJC5 had a fabulous time. He went to the beach for the first time, went swimming in the pool, and even ate his first bite of ice cream. Needless to say it was an awesome vacation and we loved every minute of it. Thanks Nana and Papa!!
And lastly, WJC5's 11 month old picture. As you can see, trying to get him to sit still and take a picture now is a very difficult task. This took about 20 tries and I finally had to use reinforcements. Sorry for the cell phone in his hand!! Ha Ha!!
