So WJC5 is now using the couch or tables and walking around holding on to them. He does very well and has good balance. Once he lets go, he falls. But then he gets right back up and goes at it again. I can already tell he is going to be determined. He also is showing his preferences. He likes to pick specific books out for daddy or mommy to read to him. He even will get up mid-book if it is not to his satisfaction and get another one from the bin for you to read. It is neat to learn which books are his favorites.
He has completely become infatuated with my iphone. He loves to hold it, play with the buttons, and even bite it. (not like I let him!). I even downloaded and App called "Bubbles." It is where you can touch the screen and these blue bubbles appear and they move around and when you touch them you hear a pop. This gets me through a major meltdown if needed!! I love the bubbles!! :)
WJC5 has this great toy that he can use to practice walking around. This is a video when we brought it outside to enjoy the spring weather. As you can see, he is really getting a move on!
I am really starting to see a personality unfold with WJC5. He is quite a little ham and he is just the happiest baby. I feel that we are very blessed. He just goes with the flow and doesn't really get upset unless he is tired, hungry, or bored. We have received so many wonderful compliments on his behavior and personality. It makes us feel so lucky. I think this is someone upstairs making sure we have another! LOL!
He is doing great with his eating. So far he loves everything we give him and we have not seen any major allergy issues. He has been going through a difficult time with texture though. If anything is too chunky, he gags and has a hard time getting it down. We are working on it though and I think as more teeth come in, it will get easier.
For Easter this year, we went to the DeLuca's house in New York. We had a wonderful time with lots of amazing food. It was great to spend the day with family. WJC5 even had so much fun he slept from his 2 pm nap until we got all the way home at 6pm!! We were so worried he was not going to fall asleep until midnight! Sure enough though, by 9pm, he was out! It is hard keeping up with his cousins Madeline and Maia.
Ahh, the teeth. They are growing like the tulips!! Spring is in the air!
