"Oh where, oh where has my daddy gone?? Oh where, oh where could he be??" Well James had to leave us for the first time this week. His best friend Craig is getting married later this month and he is the best-man. So, he had to do his best-man duty and attend the Bachelor party in NC. I know he missed us lots but I think he secretly enjoyed the break. No crying, sleeping in, relaxing, etc. Nice timing James!! LOL!!
Luckily my mom and dad had planned this and were in CT to help me out for the weekend so I wasn't all alone. Sadly however, my dad got a really bad cold and couldn't be around the baby and I. He had to stay cooped up in his hotel room all alone. We felt so bad for him. Sorry dad!! :( I'm sure WJC5 and I will be germ free though which is important. We all miss you though. My mom stayed with me and helped take care of WJC5. It was great having those extra hands.
We also got a visit from our old neighbor in Fl. Rebecca and her daughter Reagan came by to see us and meet WJC5. We sure miss having neighbors like them here in CT!!
I do believe this week I got a true smile out of WJC5!! He has also been finding his voice and practicing his communication skills. This video is a little mother-son chat we had one morning. He is very talkative in the morning. When he is this cute it sure makes waking up at 7 am a little easier!!
